Pre-2000
Alexander
and Annelies Horn established Kendal Hills Stud Farm
as a Standardbred breeding operation in Ontario in 1981. The
farm initially stood the stallions Caroldons Knight
and Armbro Norval, though in later years Coal Harbor,
General Star, Topnotcher, Broadway Blue, U.S. Open,
Klingon Hanover and others have called Kendal Hills Stud
Farm their home. Currently,
the 200-acre farm is operated by Annelies Horn, her sons Christoph
and Stefan and the Kendal Hills staff.
"Setting The Pace"
At
the Kendal Hills website, you can "do the usual"
- check out the stallions, the broodmares, the yearlings (we
even invite your suggestions for names of the yearlings).
And of course, you can take a look at the farm's services
(feeding program, semen transportation), see some of the photos
of the farm etc. In addition, our "Links page" includes
links to Maurie Danko's site, where you can plan your own
mare's breeding and check out the resulting foal.
Finally, we welcome you to send in an e-mail regarding questions
you have of the farm, whether it pertains to bloodlines and
stallion selection ... veterinary questions ... or inquiries
around the farm's services. Kendall Hills is hoping that -
along with you - we will be able to establish an interactive
stud-farm!! So, load up your e-mail questions - and
fire away.
We hope you enjoy your "cybervisit" to Kendal Hills
Stud Farm, and welcome you to make a personal visit at any
time. We also welcome any comments or suggestions that may
assist Kendal Hills Stud Farm in "Setting The Pace".
