PLEASE ARRANGE FOR SEMEN TRANSPORTATION WELL IN ADVANCE OF THE TIME NEEDED TO AVOID COMPLICATIONS AND TO ENSURE PREGNANCY.

ORDERING SEMEN

1) There will be a $30 packing charge per dose of semen reserved for your mare.
2) It is required that your mare be palpated by an equine vet in her current cycle prior to semen being shipped.

We have a number of "Equitainers" on hand in order to ship cooled semen, which may be rented by mare owners. Our driver will be at the Mohawk Inn on a regular schedule during the breeding season, and Equitainers may be left for him provided prior arrangements have been made with our office.

Kendal Hills Stud Farm offers regular semen delivery to Pearson Airport and the Mohawk Inn for the convenience of mare owners. We will also deliver directly to the mare at the price of .50 per km. Kendal Hills Stud Farm will make every effort to satisfy all delivery customers. Please make all arrangements well in advance of the date required.

Any mare owner requiring air-freight delivery of semen must send a $500 deposit prior to shipment, to cover airport delivery and air freight charges. Should the charges exceed the deposit, KHSF may request further deposits. Mare owners from the United States should communicate with Kendal Hills Stud Farm in a timely manner to allow for the completion of Export Forms & Agriculture Canada inspection.

We accept cash, cheque or VISA payment upon delivery of semen. We will provide an invoice with delivery and send a monthly statement for your records.

KHSF may refuse or cancel the service of shipped semen if one or more of the following is evident:
1) The mare owner is not inseminating the mare PROMPTLY.
2) The mare owner is negligent regarding regular palpation and early pregnancy exams.
3) The mare appears to be infertile.
4) The mare owner has an unpaid account.
